Svadba 'A Wedding' by Ana Sokolović is a coming of age tour de force following the bride-to-be, Miliça, who celebrates with her best friends the day before her wedding. Sung in Serbian, and performed by an all-female cast and creative team, this modern folk opera is brought to life through unaccompanied vocal music and dance. Sokolović’s breath-taking score envelops us in a whirlwind of ritual, music and movement.
